Layout "Life is full" - MTW Callenge

Hi everyone! I´m back blogging after a short summer break, and today I want to show you a layout inspired by the current challenge at More than Words (see challenge board in the bottom of this post).

I just love this picture of our sweet Alice when she was 2 years old. She look SO sweet and happy and full of joy. Since the inspiration word for the challenge was happy - picking this photo for the project was just a perfect match.

The second part of the challenge was to follow a sketch. I pretty much have denied that I LOVE sketches this past year - this one really rocked my project.

Instead of using two photos I decided to go with a stack of papers & a tag from AB Studio. I have had the "Rainbow Collection" in my stash for a while but never found a the perfect use for it - until now. Love how the playful & colorful style works here! The tag is from another collection though.

I created texture with a stencil (also AB Studio) and white crackle paste from Finnabair. I actually used a 12x12 cardboard sheet as my background instead of paper...

Small details hiding - the butterfly was stamped, embossed and fussy cut.

I hope you like my little project!

Dragonfly ATC´s - egoCraft Design Team

I´m here today to show you a set of Artist Trading Cards with lovely egoCraft chipboard dragonflies as main decoration.

I love the dimensional effect on the dragonflies and decided to glue the "straight" dragonflies together to create a similar effect as the bent one. I both painted them and covered them with crackle paste to create a cool rustic effect. The patterns on the card base was created with paint, embossing powder, modelling paste and a stencil from AB Studio.

Layout "Be Awesome! Be Bold! Be Silly!" - AB Studio Design Team

Sharing a layout created with AB Studio papers today! I love the "Urban Landscape" papers designed by Stephanie Schutze for AB Studio.

I cut out fussy cut butterflies from the elements for cutting paper "Butterfly Effect" and added to one side of the Urban Landscape paper. Then added texture with the help of modeling paste & a lace stencil (also AB Studio). A bit of ink from Lindy´s and some random stamping create a cool effect.

A card for Vilma - egoCraft Design Team

Hi sweet egoCraft fans! Today I´m sharing a card with the brand new Baby´s World Collection from egoCraft.

From time to time I get requests from my colleges to create a card for someone they are celebrating. This time it was for a granddaughter called Vilma turning 2 years old. What better egoCraft products to dig into then the new Baby´s World collection combined with papers from AB Studio designed by TandiArt? I picked the sweet loving clouds that fit perfect for a kid in any age.

To spruce them up a bit & get them to tie in with my papers of choose I embossed them with a baby blue embossing powder from Lindy´s  in two cotes. I turned our wonderful - and you still can see the tiny dots around the edge of the clouds.

Sweet summer card - egoCraft Design Team

Hi everyone!

Today I´m showing you a card with summer feeling. Here in the north of Sweden it is what we call pre-summer. The nights are light - sun never sets - and the foliage outside is light green and the flowers bloom in soft pink, whites & beige. The light outside - especially at 12 in the night is just magical. This was my inspiration for this birthday card.

I used a circular chipboard frame from egoCraft as the focal point of my card, then added soft colored flowers from Prima Marketing and painted two chipboard leave in a bright green that go well with the patterned paper from AB Studio. The chipboard frame was painted in a nougat metallic color. I pretty much love how it turned out - do you?
