MDF Tag "Under the Mistletoe" - AB Studio Design Team

Happy Sunday everyone! 

Today I´m sharing a MDF tag in winter team created with lovely papers from AB Studio.

I covered the tag from Woodouts with paper no 3 from the "Secret wood" Collection. Then fussy cut the Elk & the trees from the bonus sheet that comes with buying the collection pack.

Isn´t he stunning!!

I created a cluster that I wanted to look like a mistletoe bundle by using a piece of AB Studio chipboard (coming soon!) and leaves cut from sheet 3 & 6 of "Breeze of the Forest" collection. I tied a little bell to a string to really get a Christmas feel.

The magic mushroom - MMP Challenge

Maybe it was the pictures, maybe it was the fall outside, maybe it was the feeling of being in a dream world when taking a morning walk, but the other day I created this magic mushroom inspiered by the current challenge at Mixed Media & Art. 

I painted & decorated this MDF mushroom from Woodouts with resin pieces & paint from Finnabair for Prima Marketing. Black gesso covered with Art Alchemy Sparks add the base. Then I added different resins (created from the Stars & Moon mould), mechanicals and art pebbles. 

Texture was created with a stencil from AB Studio & modeling paste. You find all products linked below.

Spooky tag - egoCraft Design Team

Hi there sweet fans! Today I´m sharing a Woodouts MDF tag with papers from AB Studio and Halloween chipboards from egoCraft. 

I´m not a huge fan of Halloween creating - we don´t celebrate much - but I just love these bat chippies so I could not resist making a project using them. 

I painted the chipboards with Lindy´s Magicals before adding them on top of the mdf tag. 

I gave the tag some stucture using a spiders web stencil and modeling paste from Finnabair. Before that I added a piece of patterned paper from AB Studio´s collection "Paradise Lost".

Spring Tag - Woodouts Guest Designer

Spring is just around the corner and a spring tag togheter with a bunch of tulips is the perfect gift for someone you care about. I created this tag with the help of some Tattered Angels Glimmer Mists & flower elements and a stencil from AB Studio.

I painted the Woodouts tag with white High Impact Paint and then added texture with the help of the AB Studio stencil & modeling paste. When dry I sprites water and started adding the different shades of Glimmer Mist. I LOVE that about Woodouts products - you can use as much water as you want without risking of distroying your surface.

You can see how the light catch the shimmer from the Glimmer Mists.

I added the flower elements to create depth and I just LOVE how this turned out. I even might skip my original plan to give it away and instead hang it on a nail in our hallway so it is the first thing I see when I come home from my job - happy thoughts is always welcome!

Winter Music - Mixed Media & Art Design Team

Hi Crafty Souls! I hope you´re enjoying the last days of 2018. Today I´m here to with my inspiration piece for the December Challenge at Mixed Media & Art.

The December 15 - January 14 moodboard "Winter Melody":

I was inspired by the house shapes, the colors and the animals & created used different paints & mists from Tattered Angels to paint the MDF house from Woodouts. 

I spritzed the chipboard pieces with two light tones of Glimmer Mist before adding them to the MDF. Some small glimmering stones add a bit of extra sparkle.

Altered Star "Holiday Cheer" - 7 Dots Studio

Today I´m sharing a altered heart that I created as Guest Designer & Brand Ambassador for 7 Dots Studio (I was invited to be Guest before my mission as Brand Ambassador started). The project was inspered by the current challenge:

You can´t say other than that this moodboard encourage to some sort of Christmas related project - and I do love that! I decided to decorate a MDF star from Woodouts with my all time favourite collection from 7 Dots Studio - Yuletide. 

The star was painted with Red High Impact paint before I added the "Gingerbread" paper as base. To create extra interest in the background I stamped & embossed stars using the clear stamp from the Yuletide collection. 

The golden flowers (actually parts from a neckless) & the leaves equals the golden lights and the christmassy leaves in the moodboard. Together with tags flowers & the die cut piece they create a great focal point. Splatters of golden mist give that perfect "messy" touch that I like.

I´m really happy with this piece & hope that you found it inspiring!

Hi sweet crafty souls! 

Today I´m sharing a Christmas Ornament made with a lovely large MDF star from Woodouts!

If you not yet have discovered the products it is time you do so!

I wanted a vintage shabby shic feel to this project, so I started by painting the sides of the star with white gesso before adding a patterned paper from AB Studio. I added a settled wood landscape using a stencil and white embossing powder. Then I added the cluster that I built with cut out elements from AB Studio, flowers & chipboard.

 The Merry Christmas sentiment was stamped & embossed with shiny black embossing powder from Swedish company Reprint. Love how it turned out!

Good Morning sweet crafty friends!

Today I´m showing you my latest project for the AB Studio Design Team - a altered wooden heart with Christmas Theme. 

I used papers from "In Wonderland" to cover the MDF base from Woodouts. then added texture with the help of stencil no xx and texture paste. The decorations are a mix of cut outs from "Dreamland" Collection, paper flowers and a tag. A small bell add that little extra something.
