Altered Chipboard "Christmas Eve" - AB Studio Design Team


Merry Christmas Everyone!

Today we celebrate Christmas with gifts, food and everything that comes with it. I´m just poping in to show you my altered chipboard piece that I created with chipboard, papers & stamps from AB Studio. As I planned to show you this on Christmas Eve I descided to go with a really brim filled christmas colored project!


I worked with papers from the "Diary" collection and used one of the sheets to cover the back of the chipboard. Then fussy cut out deep red roses & leves to use as part of my embellishment. I also added a couple of tags.


If you look closely you can see that I stamped and embossed in gold on the chipboard. The stamp is a flower stamp from AB Studio that is pretty new - loving it.

Boo & Happy Halloween - egoCraft Design Team


Today I´m sharing a altered MDF piece created for egoCraft. 
Loving how this turned out with the spiderweb chipboard & the papers from AB Studio.


I covered the mdf from Woodouts with the paper designed by Stephanie Schutze for AB Studio. Then painted the chipboard with products from Lindy´s before adding them to the base. I added the words & alpha´s and the skull and that was all that was needed to create a fun and funky piece.

The magic mushroom - MMP Challenge



Maybe it was the pictures, maybe it was the fall outside, maybe it was the feeling of being in a dream world when taking a morning walk, but the other day I created this magic mushroom inspiered by the current challenge at Mixed Media & Art. 


I painted & decorated this MDF mushroom from Woodouts with resin pieces & paint from Finnabair for Prima Marketing. Black gesso covered with Art Alchemy Sparks add the base. Then I added different resins (created from the Stars & Moon mould), mechanicals and art pebbles. 


Texture was created with a stencil from AB Studio & modeling paste. You find all products linked below.

Spooky tag - egoCraft Design Team



Hi there sweet fans! Today I´m sharing a Woodouts MDF tag with papers from AB Studio and Halloween chipboards from egoCraft. 

I´m not a huge fan of Halloween creating - we don´t celebrate much - but I just love these bat chippies so I could not resist making a project using them. 


I painted the chipboards with Lindy´s Magicals before adding them on top of the mdf tag. 


I gave the tag some stucture using a spiders web stencil and modeling paste from Finnabair. Before that I added a piece of patterned paper from AB Studio´s collection "Paradise Lost".

Easter Artboard - egoCraft Design Team



We´re getting closer to spring (in some part of Europe it´s already on there) and Easter is not far off. I prepared this home decor piece crated for egoCraft that will be on of this years Easter Decorations in our home.


I fussy cut pieces of paper from Mintay´s "Farmlife" Collection and added to the Art Board. Then added the lovely dimensional Easter Egg & the branches. I cut the branches in smaller pieces to fit. 


I painted the chipboards with two tones of yellow Tattered Angels Glimmer Mist - can you see the lovely shimmer?

Spring Tag - Woodouts Guest Designer


Spring is just around the corner and a spring tag togheter with a bunch of tulips is the perfect gift for someone you care about. I created this tag with the help of some Tattered Angels Glimmer Mists & flower elements and a stencil from AB Studio.


I painted the Woodouts tag with white High Impact Paint and then added texture with the help of the AB Studio stencil & modeling paste. When dry I sprites water and started adding the different shades of Glimmer Mist. I LOVE that about Woodouts products - you can use as much water as you want without risking of distroying your surface.


You can see how the light catch the shimmer from the Glimmer Mists.


I added the flower elements to create depth and I just LOVE how this turned out. I even might skip my original plan to give it away and instead hang it on a nail in our hallway so it is the first thing I see when I come home from my job - happy thoughts is always welcome!

Junk Journal "Dream Journal" - 7 Dots Studio


Hello crafty souls! I´m here today to share a junk journal style notebook cover that I made using the Fortune-teller Collection from 7 Dots Studio.


 I have a friend who always writes down everything that is important to her. She use plain notebooks that she has stacked up on the table beside her bed. As her birthday is coming up – I decided to make her a more pretty sample to keep on the bed table.


I bought a plane hard cover notebook and painted it with black gesso before adding a piece of old lace to get texture. When dry I layered pieces of papers from the collection mixed with burlap, lace and paper bags.

 I fussy cut out the round shape with the eye from the “Soul” paper and attached it on a piece of delicate chipboard. 

Tags & stickers from the collection where tucked in between the layers of papers. And my favourite part of the cover is the see trout pebble with a die-cut element piece underneath. I covered the back in a similar way a the front, but did not use as “bulky” decorations as in the front. Inside the cover I added more patterned papers and created pockets with old bags and tucked in a couple of tags.

Winter Music - Mixed Media & Art Design Team



Hi Crafty Souls! I hope you´re enjoying the last days of 2018. Today I´m here to with my inspiration piece for the December Challenge at Mixed Media & Art.

The December 15 - January 14 moodboard "Winter Melody":


I was inspired by the house shapes, the colors and the animals & created used different paints & mists from Tattered Angels to paint the MDF house from Woodouts. 


I spritzed the chipboard pieces with two light tones of Glimmer Mist before adding them to the MDF. Some small glimmering stones add a bit of extra sparkle.
