Card "Happy New Year" - egoCraft Design Team

Last day of Christmas here in Sweden and today I want to share a "good to have" card created for egoCraft Design Team. You know these day´s between Christmas & the New Year - well there is usually a lot of parties & gatherings and I find it perfect to have a couple of cards ready to grab as Hostess gifts.

I created this card quite fast & easy. The base is a patterend card from Canvas Corp´s Woodland Collection. I added decorations in form of star shapes from egoCraft (painted with Tattered Angels Glimmer Mist "Verdigris"). I love that they form a settled base for the flowers. Some paint splatters & a word sticker from 7 Dots Studio add that extra touch.

"Snowflake" Tags - Cuts2luv Guest Designer

Today I´m sharing a set of tags created with inspiration from the current challenge at Cuts2luv. 

I did go with the Christmas Badge, the blue & withe colors and the snowflakes. 

The patterned paper from Canvas Corp is really jolly & fun and fit well with the sneaky little elf on the badge. 

The second tag is more traditional. I used a settled striped paper togheter with the snowflake & a simple Noel badge.

Layout "Sweet Together" - Cuts2luv Guest Designer

Today I´m here to show you my inspiration piece for the November Challenge at the Cuts2luv blog.  Boy did this colors get my creative mind going. They where not obvious together and that is one thing I like - a challenge! 

I decided to bring out papers from the Canvas Corp Collection "Compose Your Life" & "Bohemian Romance" designed by my dear friend Aga Baraniak. They play SO well with the metallic flair I picked out from Guest Design pack. 

Watercolors was one of the elements in the moodboard, and what better than using Tattered Angels Glimmer Mists as watercolors? Since they are water based it works a treat. I picked up the bottle that had the same purple tone as the badge and started to play. 

The picture of my daughter & her older cousin is so sweet - I found the right badge for it!

Layout "31" - Canvas Corp Brands Creative Crew

I created this Halloween themed layout on  the Branches 12×12 Cardboard from Canvas Corp. The Cardboard is really a perfect base for your layouts. They are sturdy, and if you prime the surface with clear gesso you will can use wet mediums without getting the bend that a thin paper would get when drying.

Details:

Cut out elements from Haunt It “Halloween Masks” and “Haunt it” work perfect as decorations together with delicate flowers. And don´t you love the spider?

Fall themed card & tag set - Cuts2luv Guest Designer

I´m here today to share a couple of new project that I created as Guest Designer for Cutz2luv -  set of tags inspiered by fall and the fall themed badges.

This card has a base made from a Canvas Corp Kraft Card and patterned papers from the Holiday Micellanies collection - Gold & White Mini Roses Rev Paper. The colors match the leaf badge from the"Feuilles d'automne" set perfectly.

The paper flowers & leaves was cut out from the AB Studio paper elements for cutting - Beautiful Things. 

My second project is a set of tags.

I created these tags by coloring white tags from Canvas Corp with different Tattered Angels Glimmer Mists. Then added structure to the background with a AB Studio stencil and modeling paste. The lovely fall themed badges create a cluster & center piece toghether with flowers and leaves.

Tag "Turn the Page" - Mixed Media & Art Design Team

Hi Crafty Souls!

I´m here today with my inspiration piece for the September Moodboard at Mixed Media & Art. I was inspired by the books & the fantastic colors in this moodboard and decided to create a bookmark. For me fall is equal to reading - one of my favorite things is to sit on the front poach under a blanket, with a book and a good cup of coffee in my hands.

I tried to capture the mix of golden, bronze and browns when creating the bookmark. The black chalkstock bookmark from Canvas Corp was perfect as base. I added texture with a AB Studio stencil and modeling paste before blending different shades of Tattered Angels Glimmer Mists.

The leaf turned out lovely! I cut it from a piece of cardboard using a stencil from AB Studio to get the shape. I painted it golden with Tattered Angels High Impact Paints in 3 cotes - if you look closely you can see that I used purple & gold. Layer 1 was gold, 2 purple and 3 gold again.

To get even more texture I added stars with a stencil & modeling paste and then added a stack of Finnabair metals to resemble the compass on in the moodboard. I love the quote on the sentiment strip from 7 Dots Studio!
