Tags "Make today Magical" - Cuts2luv Guest Designer

Have you started to craft for Christmas yet? Well as December is closing up shortly I have couple of tags that might inspire you to start. I love to create tags to put on the Christmas gifts, and adding badges to them - well - do I need to say it - it´s a MUST.

This first tag was creted with papers from 7 Dots Studio (Northern Light Collection) and I wanted the tag to catch the feeling of anxiety that you feel waking up on Christmas morning.

The badge with the words Make today Magical was perfect for this, don´t you think?

I love that it is white and pops against the grey paper and the bright red decorations.

My second tag has much more settled and soft colors. I actually had a thought on which parcel this would go on as I created it - I have knitted a few gifts...

The flower arrangement on this badge reminds me of the ones that you can dress up your front porch with. And what better way to use your knitted gift than outside the porch ...

The colors in the badge give the tag the right christmas feel even though I used soft colored decorations & paper.

Happy Monday Crafty Souls! Today I am here to share my first project for the egoCraft Design Team - a set of tags inspired by the November Challenge at 7 Dots Studio.

I created these tags with a paper from 7 Dots Studios Yuletide collection, Tattered Angels Glimmer Mists & Chipboards from egoCraft.

A cote of Glimmer Mist on the chipboards create extra shine. 

Love the combination of red, white, blues and silver.

"Misteltoe Magic" - AB Studio Design Team

Have you started prepping for Christmas? Started with the Card making?

Well - I have - a bit, so today I´m sharing this Mixed Media Wall Hanging created with AB Studio products.

I used chipboard background no 45 as base for this project and I loved to work with it. I sprayed it with Tattered Angels Glimmer Mist "Snowy Pine" to get the cold blue color.

Before adding decorations I applied a piece of patterned paper from "In Wonderland" Collection and then texture with stencil no 65 and modeling paste. 

As decorations I used flowers that I stamped, colored and then cut (see list of stamps blow). I also added two tags from "Dreamland" Collection.

Art Journal "Bird" - Mixed Media & Art Design Team

Hello Crafty Souls!

I´m here to share my inspiration piece for the current challenge at Mixed Media & Art - a Art Journal page. I also was inspiered by the monocromatic challenge at scrapki-wyzwaniowo this month.

The November 15 - December 14 Challenge board "Poetry"

I created my page using different mists from Tattered Angels. Layering them with a brush & water and drying in between. A used a script stamp & dark orange stamping in between the layers.

Stamped flowers & leaves from AB Studio painted with bright yellow and dark green mist.

I´m not that much into poetry - but I found this quote that sounds sort of like poetry to me ....

Love the bird rubon from 7gypsies Architextures.

More details of the flowers & leaves. I also added a black stamped script randomly over the page.

Tag "You look great" - Woodouts Guest Designer

I´m really happy to show my first project as Woodouts Guest Designer today!

Woodouts is a new company that produces large MDF shapes that you can use as base for your Mixed Media projects. They are really good quality, sturdy and comes in a variety of shapes and sizes.

For this project I used one of the tags - the largest one.

This is how I used it to create the cool tag above:

I first painted the tag with black matte gesso. Then added modeling paste trough the beautiful stancil from AB Studio. 

To give the pattern a shimmery metallic look I painted over it with Tattered Angels Glimmer Glam. I also stamped & embossed a scripted pattern.

I crated more interest with splatters of Tattered Angels Mists.

As decorations I used stamped & painted image & a sweet sentiment.

The tag was really fun to work with. It was fun to do a project with a lot of wet mediums that not bent by getting wet or dried with a heater. 

I will give this tag to one of my dear friends who owns a clothes shop. I really can see the tag hanging on the wall in one of the dressing rooms, can´t you?

Layout "Sweet Together" - Cuts2luv Guest Designer

Today I´m here to show you my inspiration piece for the November Challenge at the Cuts2luv blog.  Boy did this colors get my creative mind going. They where not obvious together and that is one thing I like - a challenge! 

I decided to bring out papers from the Canvas Corp Collection "Compose Your Life" & "Bohemian Romance" designed by my dear friend Aga Baraniak. They play SO well with the metallic flair I picked out from Guest Design pack. 

Watercolors was one of the elements in the moodboard, and what better than using Tattered Angels Glimmer Mists as watercolors? Since they are water based it works a treat. I picked up the bottle that had the same purple tone as the badge and started to play. 

The picture of my daughter & her older cousin is so sweet - I found the right badge for it!
