Exploring the art of art - Punky Scraps #60

Oh well, as many of you know I´m part of the team behind Punky Scraps. And I must say I´m so happy about it - STILL. The challenges over there gives me the opportunity to explore the arty side of me. They have made me crave more paint and mediums, so now my major scrap budget goes to that. Nothing that I could imagine a couple of years ago to be honest.

Are you playing along? If not - please do and perhaps find a new side of your self...

This is my messy page for challenge #60, which evolves two pictures to choose between. Can you tell which one I choose?

Material: Paper; Basic Grey. Mist & ink; Dylusions, Maya Road. Black & white gesso  (Claudine Helmuth).  Embossing powder: Zing & You Do. Alphas; American Craft Thickers. Stamps; Stampotique. Coloring made with Distress Markers from Tim Holtz. Wood star from Sodalicious.

I tried a new technique on this page. You see the metallic finish? Well, I achieved that by sprinkling embossing powder over wet gesso. Then I let it  dry a tiny bit, and misted over it. The finish effect came when I used my heating gun and melted the powder. I think it looks pretty cool.
