Free Spirit - 7 Dots Studio Design Team

Happy Thursday everyone! I´m glad to be here with my first post as a part of the 7 Dots Studio Design Team.

I have been working with the Fortune Teller Collection making this layout that I believe represent ME in so many ways. It´s a bit grungy, it´s a bit rugged, very colorful and a bit messed up. Perfectly imperfect might be the right description. Just like me....

The background work is really the easiest one possible, the Fortune 12x12 paper works great as background. I just covered the page with clear gesso and then splattered on Tattered Angels Glimmer Mists (Marmelade, Red Chilies, Dragonfly), Glimmer Glam (Turquoise) and Glimmer Glaze (Desert Sun). The gesso prevent the ink from being absorbed by the paper and the color & shimmer  don´t dissaper as much.

To add extra interest I used a white pencil to draw rectangles (using a candy box as template...), white splatters of ink gives an extra crispy touch. I also stamped with white High Impact paint (Tattered Angels) and the Hand stamp from the Fortune Teller stamp set.

I added dimension to my page by layering different pieces of paper, die cuts and stickers. A stamped feather (also from the Fortune Teller stamp set) make a cool focal point.

Thank you for your visit today!

I have used products from 7 Dots Studio & Tattered Angels.
