It is time for a new challenge at the Words & Paintery Blog. This month our moodboard remind us of sandy beaches and water melons.
I have used a patterned paper from Canvas Home Basics as my base. To tone down the chocolate brown I painted it with watered down gesso. I then splattered on different Tattered Angels mediums - Mists, Glaze and High Impact paint.
Don´t you just love the quote card from 7gypsies? The best thing is that there is a whole 12x12 filled with similar ones. I´m totally in love with them! They come from the Open New Doors paper (Wanderlust Collection).
As you can see I have embossed on the background. I used a stamp from 7gypsies that I really love - the Time Pieces Cling stamp set.
