Best Wishes with a Spoon - Scrap FX Design Team

Sometimes creativity just hits you hard - like for this projects I made for my second post for the Scrap FX Design Team this month. I have had this spoon laying around on my desk forever and suddenly I came up with an idea on how to use it. Just recently, a new fancy restaurant opened in our little village. I´m so happy with it and with my 3 visits in a row the same week, you could pretty much call me obsessed. Sitting there with the envelope with my newely received Scrap FX products in front of me, my eyes fell on the spoon - and the project plan began to take shape. I figured out that I wanted to make a gift for the restaurant - sort of new birth gift - with a matching tag to go with it. This is how it ended up.

Both the spoon and the tag where covered with High Impact paint from Tattered Angels. After drying I added crackle paste mixed with Tattered Angels Glimmer Mist to get a textured and worn effect.

I added a home made rust paste (mix heavy gesso, glimmer mist and Finnabair texture powder to a thick paste) on the chipboard and on the edges of both the tag and the spoon. Then some glass beads, a flower and micro beads fore even more texture. The word chipboard got a two coats of High Impact Paint and a touch of Glimmer Glam for an extra wow factor.

I have used products from Scrap FX, Tattered Angels, Finnabair for Prima Marketing.
