Christening Card {video} - 7 Dots Studio Design Team

Happy Saturday everyone. Today I want to show you a card I made for the 7 Dots Studio Design Team. I was asked to make a christening card for a little boy the other day and decided to work with the Verano Azul collection for this project. I love the bold colors and I like that the card ended up playful and fun.

I used the splatter stencil from the Fortune Teller Collection together with Glimmer Mist, Chalkboard Mist & Baseboard Mist to create texture and shimmer. A bit of stamping with the stamps set from the Destination Unknown Collection add more interest to the background. I trimmed the Verano Azul tag to a smaller size and combined it with flowers and die cuts. The sneaky monkey chipboard give the card the right childlike and playful twist.
