Year 12 Formal Layout - Scrap FX Design Team & Scrap Africa Challenge

I´m here today with a layout that reminds me of summer. My son is really good at Orienteering. In fact he is the best in his age in the North of Sweden. When I got the Year 12 Formal chipboard from Scrap FX I knew at once that I wanted to use it for a layout about him and the passed season as 12 yo Champion. I also used the Teacher Crossword since I think it summons up so much of what Orienteering is all about.

I found this inspiering moodboard at the Scrap Africa blog and I decided to pick up the color from Max T-shirt (H12 = Male12yo), and use similar colors on my layout to reflect the colors in the moodboard. . I added stamping with the Notebook edge stamp & Yellow ink, then splattered on Tattered Angels Mists. I left the Chipboards “raw” so they would be really visible. A really simple page, but I do love how it turned out. It represents the sport a lot – simple but complicated in the same way.

Very cool layout, Marie! So efficient and stylish, simple but with many cool details. I love the paint dots, the compass, and even the paper suits the theme very well, reminding me of a map in some way. Thank you for joining the last Scrap Africa challenge!
