4.3 Tags - 7 Dots Studio Design Team

Today I´m sharing my latest Project for the 7 Dots Studio Design Team.

June is a hectic month for my family. Many birthdays and many other events. June is also the month here in the north of Sweden that is one of the most beautiful. The nature is filled with lovely colors. Since we often have a long spring you can find Daffodils side by side with Bell flowers. I try to take a moment every day just to sit outside in my garden and take in all the beauty nature offers. As I was doing that I found a piece of my flowerbed that had a rather dramatic color scheme. Bright blue mixed with yellows, whites, greys and a couple of rusty spikes that fell from our house – this was my inspiration for these tags!

The new Hazy Days Collection has just the right colors and feeling. Blues, yellows and a distressed and dreamy feeling. I used the “Oil Spill” paper from the 6×6 paper pad as base for both tags. Then added random stamping with the distressed circle that comes with the clear stamp set. I also made a mixture of heavy gesso, acrylics and fine glitter and added the “paste” using a spatula and the Chevron stencil.

Die Cut Elements, Tags and Stickers form the center cluster together with cheese cloth and flowers.
