Coffee in a Wooden Cup - Scrap FX Design Team

Happy Monday sweet followers! I´m here today with my latest layout for the Scrap FX Design Team as well as the on going challenge with Scrap the Girls "Dark Moon"- the moodboard is really cool (you will find it attached in the bottom of this post)  The photo of a wooden mug with boiling hot coffee was obvious for this project, the colors is perfect for the colors in the moodboard. I also found this paper from Michael´s Recollections that had a similar wood grain pattern as you can find in the photo.

I created textures on the background paper by adding layers of cheesecloth, glass glitter and micro beads. A coat of clear gesso and different shades of Tattered Angels Glimmer Mists (Coffee Shop, It´s Brown, Partridge in a Pear Tree) gave the background the right colors. I wanted the background to be rather dark so that the chipboards really would be visible. The Chipboard are of course Scrap FX and called Coffee Mugs & Coffee Phrase.
