I´m competing with a couple of other talented Swedish ladies in the Supreme Scrap Tournament this month. The first Scrap challenge was to make a double layout, without any spray inks about a place in your surrounding not further than 1000 steps away. The layout had to content 3 or more photos and at least 50 words of journal. This is what I made:
Since I almost use spray inks of everything this was a bit of a challenge. But the one who hordes shall conquer - I had a couple of water inks from Ayeeda who I used instead.
I made the background by first mixing gesso with a bit of yellow ink. Then I randomly spread the mixed up media over my pages. When semi dry I dripped the same yellow ink over the pages. The texture was made by using modeling paste and a stencil. The red/purple/yellow parts are water ink as well. I just added a lot of water on my page with a brush, dripped some Bordeaux colored ink and let it blend with the water.
The glittering and shimmering effects was made using Ayeeda Silver Glitter paint and Twinkeling H2O´s. I finished of my background with a couple of paper strips, some stamping (the bigger round pains circles), stamps ink and a stencil.
The pictures show my surroundings. We are lucky to live just nearby both a forest, a river and the sea.
