Remember this Moment ♥ Pion Design May Challenge

I found this old photo of my daughter when she was maybe 6 years old last night and decided to use it for a romantic and really summery project. The rain is poring down here, and we all miss warm weather and sun! 

I have used lots of Prima Marketing flowers and stamps together with Glimmer Mists in the colors Party Pink, Wedding Pink, Black Cherry, Taffy and Limeade.

Mother´s Day Cards {video} - Sa Crafters LCC

Mother´s Day are coming up shortly here in Sweden and these two cards where made for my mother and my MIL. I used the same material for both cards except from the dolls that are two different.

I love these wood dolls from Sa Crafters LCC and will by more of them for sure!

I used water color pecils to get the settled color effect on the paper edges. The sweet butterflies is cut outs from a patterned paper.

I made this Photo Display for my daughter who turns 7 years old next week. I love how it turned out and really hope she will like it as much as I do.

Our first reveal is really special. Em has transformed one of our pages/each into gorgous sketches! One of my older pages "My Best Side" was transformed to this lovely sketch Page Drafts #38.1! I used the sketch Page Drafts #38,2 Em made from Sanna Lipperts page and made this layout.

Recepie Book - Pion Design Guest Designer

I made this book as a Christmas Gift for one of my friends. It is nice to write your favourite recepies in a book instead of having those cut out pieces of magazines laying around. The papers from “Siri´s Kitchen” fits perfect for this project. I made a tag to put between the pages as well. The alphas was bright green from the beginning and in the videp below you can see how I transformed them to fit my tag.

Eternal Moment - Page Drafts #37

Crazy December is here and with that a new release at Page Drafts. This time we have gone all Christmassy with the most lovely kit and sketches by The Nifty Pixel. I have used the sketch 37.1 and some lovely papers from Pion Designs collection Siri´s Kitchen.

Happy Food - Pion & SATW Combo

The November Mood board from Scrap Around the World has some amazing colors. I decided to play along and choose to use papers from Pion Designs Collection "A Day in May" for my project.

The background was first covered with clear gesso, then I applied stamp ink & actylics with a sponge and my finger trough a stencil. When dry, I applied Twinkling H2O´s and a bit of wood grain stamping.

I added more paint and ink underneath the flowers and randomly over the page after adding the finishing embellisments.

The picture is from this summer when we visited one of my best friends summer house for a day. She made fab summer food like strawberries, wipped cream, vanilla icecream and rasperry lemonade. Pure summer in reduced size!

Crazy Cousins - Pion Design Guest Designer

I just love how this page turned out! The fun photo of my daughter and her oldest cousin laughing like crazy is just so cool, and I think the papers from Siri´s Kitchen togheter with the background paper from Days of Winter was just perfect for this project. The cut out flowers and the butterfly add an extra dimension to the page and the the inks blend in well with the colors in the photo.

Pion Tags x 2

I have a two Christmas Tags to show you today. As you know I´m Guest Designing for Pion Design this month and the next so these items was made for thier blog.

 



This tag was made with a plain vanilla tag as base. First of all I covered the tag with clear gesso to prep it for my other wet mediums. When dry, I randomly sprayed on pink, light green and light brown ink. To achieve a settled and soft color effect I sprayed on water. That makes the inks blend together. After some more drying (I use a heat gun cause I am pretty impatient) I added splatters of golden spray ink and a randomly stamped on text. The finishing touch is the beautiful picture from the picture paper that comes with the Days of Winter Collecion. I cut it out and covered with clear gesso. After drying I added it to my tag and decorated with sweet flowers, ribbons and the little tag.

This second tag was made pretty much the same way, just with different colors. Again I have used a piece of cut our from the Days of Winter Collection togheter with different embellishments, inks and flowers. The centerpiece is a chain i rolled around itself to form a big circle.

Days of Winter Card {Video}

When I made this card it was snowing and it got me into a Christmas mood. Today it´s raining again, but I hope it will chill of so the rain transforms into snow again.

The romantic and vintage papers from Pion Design suits for many type of projects. Mixed Media scrapbooking included!

Yay I´m 6 - Page Drafts #36

The first day of a new month means reveal day with Page Drafts. Today´s reveal of 5 New sketches by the Nifty Pixel together with the digital kit "Hearts a Flutter vol 3" is so inspiering! 

Since I am the Guest Designer for Pion Design in November & December this page for the realease was made with Pion papers.

 
 I used the Edvins World paper from the My Beloved son as my background paper. To "seal" it and prep it for wet mediums I covered it with clear gesso.

I cut out the butterflies from the border paper & the tag from the tag paper that comes with the same collection.

The journaling piece comes from the same paper.
