Maritime Wedding Book Box - Canvas Corp Brands

The Maritime Collection from 7Gypsies is really versatile and one of my all time favorites! You could us it to create wedding projects for example. I think it has a soft romantic look that fits really well for a wedding. This memory box was created to save little memories and keepsakes in - cards, notes, recites and all those things that you can look at in 20 years and remember that special day and the preparations that took you there.

The back of the box where covered with layered of Tattered Angels Mist diluted with water.

A think cord holds it closed.

 

The design is really simple. I have used a pressed paper book box, chipboard, two vintage buttons and flowers together with Tattered Angels paints and mist and the Maritime Voilier 12x12 paper.

Pentagon Shadow Box {video} - Sa Crafters LCC

I´m sad to say that this will be my last post for the Sa Crafters Team. I have loved working with the products and I hope that I have the possibility to use the products further on as well. I have had this Pentagon Shadow box for quite some time, but never found a perfect way to use it. The other day when I was going trough some pictures from last summer and found this one with my daughter and her "big" cousin I knew what to do with it.

I have used a scrap piece of patterned paper from 7 Dots Studio for the back and then some wood decorations from Sa Crafters.

The flowers looks like a field of flowers. The street light and fence was painted with Glimmer Glaze and Glimmer Glam from Tattered Angels. The Shadow box itself with structure paste.

Running Free {video} - Sa Crafters LCC

My term with Sa Crafters LCC has come to and end as the company no longer will have a Design Team. I loved working with the products and will miss it. The positive thing about it is that I now have possabilites to take on new challenges in other teams (suggestions - send me a mail)! I wanted to share a mixed media layout + video tutorial with you today.

Sa Crafters has a lot of products that work really well for mixed media scrapbooking as well. I have useda couple of products on this page, including some small dots that are leftovers from another wood piece than the ones I used for this project.

Mother´s Day Cards {video} - Sa Crafters LCC

Mother´s Day are coming up shortly here in Sweden and these two cards where made for my mother and my MIL. I used the same material for both cards except from the dolls that are two different.

I love these wood dolls from Sa Crafters LCC and will by more of them for sure!

I used water color pecils to get the settled color effect on the paper edges. The sweet butterflies is cut outs from a patterned paper.

Trust the Magic Tag - Words & Paintery

A new challenge has gone live with at Words & Paintery. This time we have taken the fields of Tulips as inspiration for our Color board.

Bottle Cap ATC´s {video} - Sa Crafters

My day at the Sa Crafters blog today. As I really enjoy making ATC cards I decided to make 3 of those as my first May project for the Sa Crafters Team. The steampunk chippies works perfect for a project like this.

I painted the chipboard with several layers of Glimmer Mist and added embossing powder to get the right "worn looking" surface.

The cool bottle caps is a gift from my Team colleague Goga! I pretty much love them ♥!

Be Amazed - 7 Dot´s Studio April Challenge

It has been a while since I made something for the 7 Dot´s Studio Challenges, but when I read the April Challenge I knew that I had the perfect photo for a project to submit. 

This photo was taken by my partner with his mobile camera while fly fishing! The Challenge was all about being inspired by rainbows so I went crazy with the colors that the rainbow consists of.

I used Glimmer Mists and my Polycromos to make the background effect. Then added stamping and gesso. The stencil I used comes from SA Crafters.

Wood Stand - Sa Crafters

This piece is a perfect gift for a wedding or a anniversary. I have used the standing wood Love Heart, a bench and my favorite leaves from the Sa Crafters Store.

I covered my wood pieces with patterned papers and distressed the edges.

The Chipboard leaves was sprayed with two layers of Glimmer Mist. And a sentence from a patterned paper finish off my project.

Our Flower - Words & Paintery

Since it is the 15th a new Challenge is up at Words & Paintery! This time we bring you  a sketch by the lovely Nifty Pixel Emma Stafrace toghether with the color palette and the words.

My interpretation of the challenge. I have used the sketch as my inspiration, even though I haven´t placed my elements according to it.

The background was made with Polychromos, Glimmer Mists and High Impact Paint. I mixed the Golden High Impact paint from Tattered Angels with clear gesso and then applied it with my fingers trough a stencil from Sa Crafters. The effect is really cool and very "golden".

I have used papers from Canvas Home Basics (Yellow and White Mini Dots & Yellow and White Big Stripes)  for both my cards, togheter with Yellow Hemp Rope and chipboards and wood products from Sa Crafters. The Chipboard on the card above was painted with high impact paint from Tattered Angels.



This card above originally had white fowers but a couple of dusts with different Tattered Angels Glimmer Mists made them yellow and golden (Sun Sisters, Twinkle Yellow, Gold).

You & Me Album - Sa Crafters {video}

A altered album is the perfect gift for someone you love or for friends who celebrate a special occation. I made this album for two of my friends who celebrate 20 years as a married couple.

I have used a chipboard album from Sa Crafters and covered it with papers that I felt suitable for the couple. I also used embellishments from Sa Crafters together with spray mist and a word stamp. I just love how it turned out and hope that the receivers will enjoy it as well.

Valentines Day Card {video} - Sa Crafters

Since Valentines Day is not that far away I´m showing you a Valentines Day Card I made for the Sa Crafters blog and You Tube Channel today.
