Sad news and good news!

As December starts I have both sad and good scrappy news to share. As from December I will no longer be a part of the Allt om Scrap team. My descition to step down from the team after almost 7 years has not been easy. The years there has given me so much, and when I look back at the projects I made over the years I can really see how my style has devleoped. This is a page made for the magazine in 2009. I wish the girls that take over good luck and will try to participate in challanges and events as often as I can! You see my last project for the magazine down below.

Another sad announcment also came today - the Color Room will be closed down after December. This lovely source of inspiration that I have been lucky to be a part of! I have met some amazing ladies beeing a part of this team and really do hope that we will keep the contact. Some of them are and I are in other team togheter, but not all of them. SO please honor this wonderful challenge blog by making a project for the last palette!

Now to the GOOD news! I have been asked to join two new teams! I can´t spill yet, but will in the next few days! Please check in here later on...

A little hello - Allt om Scrap October Challenge

Showing my page for the October Challenge with Allt om Scrap that goes live today. I really love this photo of my doughter. She looks so self confident and relaxed! Just the way she almost always are. 

I have used a old, old paper from Rue de Garance thogheter with Prima Flowers and a twig from 13@rts. The badge is an old from October Afternoon. Stamps from Paper Wings Production (the lace border) and from Kasia Krzyminska (the rest...).

So what?

We inspire with flowers at the Allt om Scrap enzine today! A couple of years ago, incorporating flowers into my scrapbooking pages wasn´t an option. Ok - I did it occasionally, if needed for a challenge or so, but not on my own choice. But not I has become on of my passions...

Allt om Scrap March Designer Challenge - Gold & Glitter

My day to post over at the Linnie Blooms DT blog. It´s also the reveal day for the Designer Challenge at Allt om Scrap.

I made this page for both projects. A page using Linnie Blooms products to interpretate the challenge of using a lot of sparkle on your project.

Sweet Baby Cards

This thing with stepping outside the box and create with material given to you can really push my creativity. I got these goregous papers from Pion Design and just loved playing with them. I made these two cards for this past Sundays issue of Allt om Scrap.

 

They are a lot more romantic than my usual style, but really - my cards tend to have a semi romantic touch that my other work don´t. Wonder why that is....

 

I have used the Sweet Baby Collection from Pion Design for both my cards.

Eclectic Card

Happy Monday! Our weekend has been filled with family time. Hockey game for our son on Saturday and then we went to a nearby town to watch the National Cross Country Championships, followed by dinner with friends. A lovely and relaxing weekend really.

Epic Springsteen

We went to a concert with Bruce Springsteen a couple of weeks ago. And as always he delivers. It was my 2nd concert this year, and my partners 3rd, but still it was good. That man is an entertainer!!!

I made this page for Allt om Scrap to be shown yesterday for the article about edited pictures. I used Picmonkey to edit this photo into black and white, and I framed with on of the polaroid frames there.

 I just adore the tape paper that Simple Stories produced exclusively for Cocoa Daisy. It´s so cool and fits my picture like a glowe.

 The date is stamped with a roller date stamp from SODAlicious. The geotag & the mustache tag came with Cocoa Daisy´s May kit. Gesso as a base.

The small stars were stamped and embossed with green Zing embossing powder.

All this snow makes we long for summer....

Yes we do have a LOT of snow. STILL! And YES I´m a tiny, tiny bit tired of it.... I found some hope in the warm weather and sun last week, but man, the snow that came down this past weekend made we just want to crawl back under the blanket and sip tea.

I have hope of a nice summer though. We plan to start it off with a trip to Spain, and if my forecasts will be right, the summer will be hot this year. It can´t be that bad as last year once again. I think all rain was preparation for a loooong and hot summer to come.

Well, I found this cute picture of my little missy riding a toy horse at the Zoo last summer. It reminded me of one of the warm and sunny days we had, and I choose to use it for the sketch we played with for past Sundays issue of Allt om Scrap.

Endings...

A lot of endings today, sadly. Today is the day for the last sketch reveal at Creative Scrappers. The page is taking a break for a while. And other sad thing is that Papermaze Nordic have shut their blog down, and with that does my mission as designer and blog coordinator end. I´ve had some lovely years working for Paula with family and will miss it a lot.

Well, this all meaning I have time to search for new missions. I have turned in some applications, and some submissions already. Time will show if it leads to something. Hopefully....

One mission I still have - and love - is designing for the Allt om Scrap enzine. You who read our blog knows that Sundays means a lot of inspiration. Today a sketch made by Cath, which I made this cute card using!

Generellt sett gillar jag inte att scraplifta. Jag tycker det har lätt att bli för likt helt enkelt. I gårdagens söndagsbilaga hos Allt om Scrap liftade vi Primia. Hennes stil är så långt ifrån min man kan komma. Ljust och romantiskt är väl inte riktigt min grejj....

Generally I don´t like scraplifting. For me the result almost always look to similar. Well, I do it anyway sometimes. For example this Sunday, we did a scraplift of Primia´s work. Her style is further away from mine than anything! Shabby Chic and romance isn´t me.... Well, you can se the result above. My card is a BIT more colorful...
